What are Para-sports?
Para-Sports are competitive athletic events. There are teams and competitions around the world from recreational level to highly competitive even professional leagues. In addition para-sports are offered in the US at 18 D1 and D2 Colleges.

Who participates in Para-sports?

People with a large range of physical abilities compete in Para-Sports. From able-bodied to Spinal Cord Injuries, severe arthritis, many congenital disabilities, amputations, bad knees, ankles, hips, elbows or shoulders. Data shows that 8% of people in the USA have a physical disability that impedes their ability to compete in usual athletics.
Where can i play Para-sports?
Finding a place to play is the first step. The Tribal Adaptive Organization is located in Kirtland NM and serves a large geographic area in and around the Four Corners. If you are outside of the greater Four Corners area contact us and we will help direct you to your closest opportunities.
